Greeting from Dr.Matthew Fahey
Head of DLTS International School
Dear Students and Families,
As we count down the final weeks of this school year, excitement is building for our move into the new buildings! We are thrilled to share this milestone with our students and families.
We also want to take a moment to celebrate the many successes we’ve had this year, with one of the highlights being our strong MAP results. These achievements are a testament to the hard work and dedication of both our students and teachers.
Looking ahead, we want to remind you about the upcoming summer school programme. This year, we will offer eight weeks of summer school, and we strongly encourage all students to participate in as many weeks as possible. Summer school provides valuable opportunities for continued learning, especially for students who may not have much exposure to English over the break. Going without instruction for such a long period can make it harder to maintain language skills, so summer school is a great way to stay engaged.
We hope you enjoy the final weeks of the school year, and we look forward to seeing many of our students join us for summer school!
Warm regards,
Dr. Matthew Fahey

Greeting from Ms.Jennifer Bradley

Dear Preschool Families,
The Final Month of School: A Time for Celebration and Looking Ahead
As we approach the final weeks of the school year at DLTS International School, we take a moment to reflect on the wonderful memories we’ve created together and the exciting events still to come.
Recently, our preschool students enjoyed a delightful Valentine’s Day Sticker Exchange, sharing kindness and joy with their peers. A special congratulations goes out to our EY3 students who took the YCT Chinese examination—each of them received well-deserved certificates in recognition of their achievements. In addition, our school community was treated to several outstanding classroom learning showcase performances, highlighting the hard work and progress our students have made throughout the year.
Looking ahead, we eagerly anticipate the EY3 graduation festivities, a significant milestone for our young learners as they prepare to transition to the next stage of their educational journey. As part of this transition, our EY3 students who are continuing to our Grade 1, Primary Years Programme, will participate in the “Baseline Assessment” activity on Saturday, February 22nd. This assessment will provide valuable insights to inform our planning for their entry into Grade 1.
While we celebrate the accomplishments of this school year, we are also busy preparing for the next. Our staff is working diligently making arrangements for the upcoming academic year. We are particularly excited about the building renovations planned for Building 2, which will bring improvements to the canteen and enhanced spaces for sensory play in the sand and water areas.
As we finish out this school year and look forward to the next, we remain committed to providing an excellent learning environment for our students. At DLTS International School, we continue to choose excellence—today, tomorrow, and always.
Warm regards,
Ms. Jennifer Bradley
Head of DLTS Preschool

Greeting from Ms. Rebecca Suangoon
Head of DLTS Primary
Dear parents,
As we begin our final unit of work for the year, it’s hard to believe how quickly the time has passed. Looking back, I feel proud of the growth and progress our students have made. I would like to thank our teachers and support staff for their dedication to your children’s education. Their continued efforts and commitment to professional growth play an important role in helping students succeed.
In the coming weeks, students will complete MAP testing as well as their final exams in Chinese and Thai. These assessments provide an opportunity for them to reflect on their progress over the year and celebrate their achievements.
If you’re looking for activities during the school holidays, please explore our summer camps. These camps are a great way for children to stay active and engaged, with a variety of exciting activities on offer.
Thank you for your ongoing support throughout the year.
Warm regards,
Mrs. Rebecca Suangoon

The Denla Sharks Competed in a Citywide Basketball Tournament
The Under 10 year old Boys and Girls teams recently showcased their skills at the exciting Basketball Tournament hosted by DBS. Young athletes from both teams brought their A-game, displaying impressive teamwork, hustle, and sportsmanship.
Throughout the tournament, they made unforgettable memories, learning valuable lessons in both victory and defeat. The players demonstrated their growing talents, with some fantastic shots, swift passes, and solid defense.
Parents and supporters helped by cheering their young stars on every step of the way. As a coach I couldn’t be prouder of their hard work and commitment. Although they faced tough competition, the players never lost their enthusiasm.
The future of these young athletes looks bright, and many are already eager for the next opportunity to compete!
Denla Golfers Compete Against Top Talent at IGST Bromsgrove Invitational

The Denla Golf team recently showcased their skills at the IGST Bromsgrove Invitational, a prestigious tournament featuring top young golfers from International schools across the region. Held at the windy Phoenix Gold Golf Club Bangkok, the team battled a strong field in very challenging conditions.
Making a triumphant return to competition after an intensive two-week training camp in the United States, Nina (Grade 4/4) carded an 84, earning a commendable 9th place (net) finish in the Under-11 Girls division. Sherynn (Grade 4/3) put on a stellar display of precision and composure, hitting 10 of 14 fairways and firing an impressive 89. Her efforts secured her the top spot in net scoring and cemented her position on the Main Tour in the Under-11 category. Insee (Grade 6/2) also made waves, demonstrating significant improvement in driving distance since his debut. Competing in the tournament’s most competitive age group, he battled hard to secure a 14th-place finish, marking another step forward in his development as a player.
The coaching staff are exceptionally proud of the team’s hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship throughout the season. Their impressive growth and determination on and off the course has been inspiring to watch.
The Denla squad now turns their attention to next month’s ISGT Bangkok Patana Invitational at Thana City Country Club, where they will look to build on their momentum. Stay tuned as this talented group aims to make another mark on the tour!
